Andy
Co-owner / Director
It has been a challenge and joy building the company over the past few years. We’ve grown alongside some amazing clients – I love seeing companies develop with us and being able to support them on their journey. I’m also passionate about our buildings – making them interesting places to work and spaces that people really want to spend time in.
Outside of this, I love the outdoors – skiing, walking, scuba diving and more recently sailing. I also suffer from a lifetime support of Sheffield Wednesday. We have two boys who have now flown the nest so travelling the country to see them is also something I love doing.

Although you won’t see as much of me, I’m very much around. I’m the one checking the finances and acting as a sounding board to all of Andy’s new projects!
I still love being involved in the business, watching the refurbs change unloved buildings into fabulous places to work and seeing dynamic communities evolve in them. The backbone of it all has been our team and it’s been a joy working with them to take the business to the next level.
The kids have now flown the nest so with my extra time, give me a dash of exercise, a large pinch of family and friends and a smidgen of travel planning and I’m very happy!

Centre Manager
After many years in retail and school business management, I have always loved working in a team environment and get a real buzz out of meeting new people, getting to know their stories, and helping to provide the best environment we can to enable them to thrive. My three ‘children’ have now all grown up and left home and we love catching up with them whenever we can. In any spare moments I love to travel and explore new places, and never miss a chance to swim – (put me anywhere within sight of the sea, and I’ll be in !) There’s nothing more precious to me than spending great times with family and friends. In quieter moments, I always have a book on the go and one day I’ll return to my latest challenge of trying to learn Italian!…

I come from a design background and working at PoD ticks all those boxes for me – from working alongside a wonderful team to client liaison, building a community to connecting people PLUS getting plenty of opportunity to put my design hat on when needed – it’s my perfect job!
If I’m not out with the dogs, reading, restocking my unit at a local Antiques/Interiors centre or planning my next trip to somewhere new, I’ll be in the pool. I’m passionate about swimming and have enjoyed taking part in charity swim events to raise money for Alzheimer’s – a charity very close to my heart. The perfect end to a busy week…? Spending quality time with our grown-up family and friends over a few drinks, tasty food and lots of chatter.

Centre Manager
Meeting new people, having conversations, and building relationships has always been my strength. With a background in both hospitality and account management, I love being part of a community and getting to know people from all walks of life. You can find me at my happiest when I’m travelling and exploring new places, deep in the pages of a good book, or catching up with friends and family with a glass of prosecco…or two!

Centre Manager
I come from more of a clinical background so being at the ‘heart’ of the centre is my favourite place to be. Being front of house is ideal for me as I get the buzz of meeting and greeting all the new Point of Difference customers plus being able to spend time with the long-standing customers who I’ve built a great relationship with. Perfect! Give me something to sort out or organise and I’m there…and I love a spreadsheet – another little joy of mine!
Outside of work I spend time catching up with friends and family for a natter, and being a weekend ‘football and horse-riding’ mum to my lovely little 8-year-old daughter.

Ops and Facilities Manager
I come from a property management background and ran my own business before finding the Point of Difference team. It’s a great company to work for – I love changing the look and use of the properties. Never a dull moment looking after heritage buildings, but we have a great team of contractors to help us.
On the home front, I am married with 2 great grown up kids and a dog. We love the sea and Dorset in particular, we escape to there at every opportunity.
I am also a beekeeper in my spare time, it really keeps me in touch with the natural environment which is important to me. Do feel free to try the Point of Difference honey, it is the best honey in the world. (I may be a little biased!)

Business Centre Co-ordinator
Starting my career at Point of Difference has been fun and insightful. I love the challenges and constantly learning something new every day with no two days being the same. Meeting new people always piques my curiosity as it’s an opportunity to learn something new from them.
I am a keen sportsman and enjoy competing in all sorts of sports, most recently boxing. Other than that, I enjoy travelling and reading.
